Losing a job is something that all too many people have experienced. It’s easy to get down on yourself in these types of situations. This happened to Jenda Kempf. It seemed like losing her career was going to define her, but then she received some excellent brotherly advice.

Jenda was a bank manager for 13 years. When the bank came under new management, she was laid off from her job. A large part of her identity was wrapped up in being a bank manager, which caused her to self-doubt and discouraged. She had credit card debt and bills to pay when this happened which only added to her level of stress.

One day she was confiding in her brother about her situation. He gave her some excellent advice that changed her attitude and perspective. From that moment on, Jenda began to look at things differently. She had a talent for photography and began to invest her time into that.

Although the road was tough, today, she’s a very successful photographer who has traveled all over the world taking pictures. Had she let the loss of her job get her down and defeat her, she wouldn’t have found the incredible job and life she has now.
